# Is there a free trial?

Yes — 14 days of the Growth plan, no credit card required. You get 200 audits, the bulk scanner, the widget, the AI outreach drafts, and white-label reports. After day 14 the account pauses until you pick a [paid plan](/help/billing/what-plans-are-available).

## What the trial gives you

The trial is the full Growth feature set, not a stripped-down preview. That covers everything a 2–5 person agency would use. The [audit widget](/help/getting-started/how-do-i-install-the-audit-widget-on-my-website). The [bulk scanner](/help/advanced/how-does-the-bulk-scanner-work) for 50-domain batches. The [AI email + LinkedIn drafts](/help/outreach/how-do-ai-outreach-emails-work). And white-labeled [public reports](/help/reports/how-do-public-audit-reports-work). The only ceiling during trial is the 200-[audit cap](/help/billing/what-are-audit-limits-per-plan), which resets on conversion.

Think of it like a 2-week test drive. Same car you would actually buy, returned at the end if it does not click.

## How LemAudit runs the trial

A signup creates an entitlement row with status = 'trialing' and trial_ends_at = signup + 14 days. No payment method is collected at sign-up; we never charge surprise fees. On day 12 we send a 1-line reminder email; on day 15 the account flips to 'paused'. Paused accounts can still sign in, see existing leads, and download [PDF exports](/help/reports/can-i-export-audit-reports-as-pdf), but new audits and the widget stop firing until they convert via Stripe.

If you convert mid-trial, your trial ends and the paid period starts immediately; LemAudit does not waste your remaining trial days.

## Worked example

A new agency signed up Monday morning, installed the widget by lunch, and ran a 25-domain bulk scan that afternoon. Day 4 they had 31 leads and had sent 9 outreach emails, with 2 replies. Day 11 they converted to Growth before the reminder even fired. Their 200-audit counter reset on conversion, giving them a full month of headroom.

## When this isn't right

If you only need a 1-time site audit with no outreach or lead capture, the trial is overkill. Use a free Lighthouse run instead. If you need more than 200 audits in 14 days for evaluation (e.g. testing a 500-prospect list), email support and we will extend the trial cap rather than make you upgrade just to evaluate.
