The health score is a weighted average of 5 category scores, each on a 0–100 scale: SEO 30%, performance 25%, security 20%, mobile 15%, accessibility 10%. Sites scoring under 60 are flagged as Hot leads in the pipeline.
What the score is for
The score is a single number you can put on a slide, in an email subject line, or on a public report. It is not a Google ranking prediction. It is a fix-priority signal: a 38 means "many concrete things are broken right now". A 92 means "this site is in good shape, your sales pitch needs to be different".
Think of it like a credit score. Useful for a 5-second triage call, not a substitute for reading the full issue list.
How LemAudit computes it
The math lives in the score-audit edge function. Each category check returns a 0–100 sub-score. The function multiplies each by its weight and sums. If a category cannot be measured (PageSpeed timed out, accessibility skipped), LemAudit drops that category. It then re-normalises the remaining weights so the score still sums to 100. That is why an audit with no PageSpeed data can still produce a number.
The Hot threshold of 60 maps to the same cutoff used by the lead pipeline and the pipeline filters.
Worked example
A roofing site scores 71 SEO, 38 performance, 100 security, 64 mobile, 80 accessibility. Math: 71×0.30 + 38×0.25 + 100×0.20 + 64×0.15 + 80×0.10 = 21.3 + 9.5 + 20 + 9.6 + 8 = 68.4 → 68. Performance drags it down. The opening line of the outreach email writes itself: "your homepage takes 6 seconds to load on mobile".
When this isn't right
The score is a heuristic. A site can score 85 and still rank badly because of off-page factors LemAudit does not measure (backlinks, brand searches, local citations). For competitive markets, pair the score with a manual SERP check and a backlink tool before pitching.
