Yes. Open Settings → Plans → Manage subscription, click Cancel plan, and confirm. You keep full access until the end of the period you already paid for. There is no fee, no phone call, and no extra form.

    What "cancel" really means here

Cancelling stops the next charge. It does not delete your account or your data. Your leads, audits, reports, widget script, and brand settings stay where they are. Once the paid period ends, your account drops to a read-only state. You can sign in and look at past leads. New audits and the widget stop firing until you resubscribe.

Think of it like turning off a streaming service. The library you built up stays on the shelf. You just lose the ability to add new things until you turn it back on.

    How it works in LemAudit

Open Settings → Plans in the left sidebar, then click Manage subscription. That opens the secure Stripe billing portal in a new tab. Click Cancel plan. Stripe asks for 1 confirmation and then sends a receipt email within 1 minute.

The cancel call goes through our stripe-portal edge function. We lock Stripe to the API version 2024-12-18.acacia for stability. Cancellations always take effect at period end, never mid-cycle, so you keep the days you paid for. The end date shows in Settings → Plans right away. See what plans are available if you want to switch instead of cancel.

    Worked example

A 2-person agency on the Growth plan cancels on day 12 of their cycle. They keep the full 200 monthly audits and the widget for the remaining 18 days. On day 30 the plan flips to read-only. Their 47 captured leads stay searchable. When they resubscribe 2 months later, the widget starts firing on the next page view with the same script tag and brand colors.

    When this isn't right

If you only need a short break, pause is usually a better fit than cancel. Pause keeps the widget live but freezes the audit counter. If you want your data fully removed instead of just access ended, email support@lemaudit.com to request a GDPR account deletion. Stripe refunds follow their standard terms, and we do not pro-rate cancellations ourselves.
